Analysis of Gasification Process in Air ambient vaporizer

The air ambient vaporizer includes an evaporation part and a heating part. The evaporation part is composed of heat transfer tubes connected side by side with end plate tubes, and the heating part is composed of heat transfer tubes connected in series with elbow joints. The heat pipe is formed by extruding heat sinks and pipes, and its cross section is generally a star-shaped fin, and the fin material is made of aluminum alloy. The installation form of the LNG air-temperature vaporizer is vertical and open-air.

The gasification process of LNG in the air ambient vaporizer is a heat and mass transfer process dominated by boiling heat transfer. LNG flows in the finned tube to absorb heat and gasify, and the heat transfer outside the tube is natural convection heat exchange, and the heat is transferred from the air to the LNG through the fins and the tube wall. When the temperature of LNG reaches the bubble point, the liquid starts to boil and vaporize, and the gas phase and liquid phase are in equilibrium; then the proportion of each component in the gas phase changes with time, and tends to be the ratio of raw material liquid to natural gas. The proportion of each component in the gas is the same as that of the raw material liquid, and the temperature at this time is called the dew point. The bubble point is the boundary point between the liquid phase section and the gas-liquid equilibrium section, and the dew point is the boundary point between the gas-liquid equilibrium section and the gas phase section. The two are key parameters in the heat transfer simulation of the gasifier.
