1. Installation
The installation location should be reasonably selected and should be installed in a well-ventilated place with smooth air circulation and away from fire sources and flammable materials. Ensure that there is enough space around to facilitate the maintenance and repair of the equipment.
The installation foundation should be firm and able to withstand the weight of the vaporizer and the vibration during operation. At the same time, the horizontality of the vaporizer should be ensured to ensure its normal operation.
The connecting pipes should be installed correctly, and the diameter, material and connection method of the pipes should meet the design requirements. After the pipeline is installed, a strict pressure test should be carried out to ensure that there is no leakage.
2. Operation
Before starting, carefully check whether all parts of the vaporizer are intact, including finned tubes, valves, instruments, etc. Make sure that all valves are in the correct open or closed state.
Start and stop operations strictly in accordance with the operating procedures. When starting, the LPG inlet valve should be opened slowly to control the flow of LPG to avoid a sudden increase in pressure in the vaporizer due to excessive flow. When stopping, the LPG inlet valve should be closed first, and the outlet valve should be closed after the LPG in the vaporizer is completely vaporized.
Pay close attention to the operating parameters of the vaporizer, such as pressure, temperature, flow, etc. Once abnormal parameters are found, the operation should be stopped immediately for inspection and treatment.
Overpressure operation is strictly prohibited. Reasonable safety devices such as safety valves and pressure sensors should be set according to the design pressure of the vaporizer.
3. Maintenance
Regularly maintain the vaporizer, clean the dust and dirt on the surface of the finned tubes, and maintain the heat exchange effect. Compressed air or water can be used for cleaning, but be careful to avoid damaging the finned tubes.
Check the sealing of the inlet and outlet pipes, and repair them in time if there is a leak. At the same time, check the insulation of the pipeline to ensure good insulation effect and reduce heat loss.
Regularly inspect and maintain the valves, instruments and other components of the vaporizer to ensure their normal operation. If there are damaged or malfunctioning parts, they should be replaced in time.
In cold areas, effective antifreeze measures should be taken. A windbreak wall can be set up around the vaporizer to reduce the impact of cold air; the vaporizer can also be insulated to prevent icing.
4. Safety
LPG is a flammable and explosive hazardous substance. When using the vaporizer, you must strictly abide by the safety operating procedures, prohibit fireworks, and avoid fire sources.
Operators must undergo professional training, be familiar with the characteristics of LPG and the operation of the vaporizer, and have emergency handling capabilities.
Install necessary safety facilities, such as combustible gas alarms, fire-fighting equipment, etc. Regularly inspect and maintain safety facilities to ensure that they are in good working condition.
When repairing and maintaining, the LPG in the vaporizer must be emptied first and replaced with nitrogen to ensure that there is no residual LPG before operation. At the same time, obvious warning signs must be set up at the maintenance site to prevent unrelated personnel from entering.
