Operating characteristics of ORV
According to the operation data of the LNG receiving station, in summer, the seawater flow rate of 7800t/h can meet the full load operation of 200t/h; in winter, the seawater temperature is low, and the seawater flow rate must meet 9180t/h. When the temperature is low, the tube bundle will freeze and the outlet will freeze. NG temperature will decrease. Therefore, the operation of the ORV in winter requires attention, when the seawater temperature is below 5.5 °C.
Operational analysis of ORV
In winter, when the seawater temperature is low, the operator should pay close attention to the seawater temperature and total seawater flow, whether the seawater is evenly distributed, and whether there is foreign matter on the tube bundle.
Summary of maintenance experience of ORV
(1) Strengthen the inspection, when the seawater temperature is lower than 5.5 ℃;
(2) When the seawater temperature drops to 7°C, an appropriate increase in seawater flow can be considered;
(3) When the seawater temperature is about 7°C, one SCV is guaranteed to be in a low-flow cooling standby state;
(4) Check the opening of the seawater butterfly valve of each tank, and try to make the opening to ensure the even distribution of water flow;
(5) When it is found that the water flow of the sink is obviously flat, stop the machine for maintenance and clean up the glass fiber reinforced plastic fragments in the pipeline;
(6) If foreign matter is found, it should be cleaned up in time, so as not to affect the freezing.
